The World Future Council aims to strengthen the United Nations system’s role in establishing a sustainable future for all, through high-level dialogue and concrete actions. The Council provides future-oriented leadership on climate change mitigation and adaptation by promoting its core objectives which include zero net greenhouse gas emissions, zero loss of biodiversity and zero poverty. We seek to raise awareness of how climate change affects human, animal and plant life through the publication of scientific papers, information materials and videos. The Council is an independent non-profit organisation that advocates for sustainable development.
